In the summer period, the State Veterinary Administration focuses more on inspections at farmers' markets
In the summer, the State Veterinary Administration (SVA) regularly focuses its inspections on the sale of animal products at farmers' markets. In the first half of this year, veterinary inspectors carried out 165 inspections of market vendors throughout the Czech Republic. In fourteen percent of the inspections, they detected violations.

Forest managers can receive almost 270 million crowns this autumn for the restoration of areas after disasters, new planting and forest protection. The Minister of Agriculture Marek Výborný (KDU-ČSL) approved the Rules for the 6th round of receiving applications for rural development according to the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy for the period 2023-2027 today.

Fish deaths in the summer months will become increasingly frequent, we are all to blame
In recent years, fish deaths in ponds and rivers caused by a lack of oxygen have become increasingly frequent. This year, several episodes have already occurred in production ponds, and a large fish death also occurred on the ricer Dyje.
