The Ministry of Agriculture has issued a new Strategy of the Ministry of Agriculture 2030+ (Strategy 2030+), which updates and expands the previous document on the development of Czech agriculture, food, forestry and water management from 2016.

The Senate approved a legalization of family farms

Family farms will probably be able to be established in the Czech Republic. Their legalization was approved by the Senate in an amendment that sets out in particular the conditions for obtaining the status of a family farm today, it introduces registration and also regulates their dissolution.

The state will take 4.4 billion CZK from last year's profit of the state-owned enterprise Lesy ČR (LČR), another half a billion CZK will be transferred to the state budget by Budějovice Budvar. The government approved the state-owned companies' contributions today. The Minister of Agriculture Marek Výborný (KDU-ČSL) said it to journalists after a cabinet meeting.
